Hatton National Bank PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s leading private sector banks with a legacy of over 136 years, is launching a Sustainable Bond Issue to support its ongoing environmental and social financing initiatives.
HNB will issue up to LKR 5 billion in listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable senior Sustainable Bonds with tenors of five years (2025/2030) and seven years (2025/2032) at a par value of LKR 100 each. In the event of an oversubscription, the Bank may raise an additional LKR 5 billion, increasing the total issue size to LKR 10 billion.
The issue carries a National Long-Term Rating of AA-(lka) by Fitch Ratings Lanka Limited.
As the Sole Manager and Financial Advisor to the Issue, HNB Investment Bank partners with HNB in structuring and managing this sustainable bond offering.
